DARK CHOCOLATE COCONUT PACKETS AND AMARENACLES

INGREDIES

500 grams Coco dough natural (1 jar)
100 grams of canned Amarena cherries (keep juice!)
150 grams dark chocolate 70% in cubes

SO MONE YOU HAVE

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
    Line the grid with baking paper.
  2. You mix the coconut with the amarena cherries in a bowl. Add a dash(s) of the juice to taste. Knead the whole into a sticky paste.
  3. Turn the coconut paste into flat rounds (such as a hamburger) about 8 cm in diameter and 2 cm high and place them on the baking paper on the grid.
  4. Place the grid in the middle of the oven and bake the mixture for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
    While the coconut rounds are cooking in the oven, melt the chocolate cubes in a glass bowl over a pan of soft boiling water.
  5. After baking, remove the grid from the oven and let the coconut rounds cool for 10 minutes.
  6. After cooling down, dip the round in the melted chocolate so that a layer of chocolate comes under the round and place it on a new baking paper.
    Leave to cool in the fridge until the chocolate is hard.
    After that you can garnish the biscuits with a cherry and/or grated coconut.
